SAFEGUARDING
Safeguarding is a priority at St. Helen’s. We are committed to following government and Church of England guidelines on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and good working practice, including safer recruitment of volunteers and paid workers.
We work to a formal safeguarding policy and procedure it can be seen on request from the Benefice Safeguarding Officer (see below).
If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable adult you can speak to: Bev Huff or Sam Suddery, Diocesan Safeguarding Advisers (Tel: 01733 887000) or Christine Ottway, our Benefice Safeguarding Officer (01858 289516)
They have been appointed by the Peterborough Diocese and St. Helen’s Church PCC to respond to any safeguarding concerns.
